What type of PII do we collect from you and how do we use it?
We do not require you to provide us with any PII. Unless you provide your PII to us through the Website, we will not collect any PII from you. However, in order to submit questions to us electronically, participate in promotions that may be offered from time to time, participate in our Take Action Campaign, subscribe to our e-news mailing list ("e-news"), or make use of certain features of the Website, you will need to provide certain PII to us. Examples of the kind of personal information collected are basic information like email address, zip code, address, age.
From time to time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. www.TheROYL.com is a general audience site that is not designed nor intended to collect personal information from children under the age of 13. ROYL does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13, and does not use such information if it discovers that it is has been provided. To respect the privacy of children and to comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), children under the age of 13 should not provide any personal information on this site. We ask that parents supervise their children while online.
